Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics when she was a six-year-old during a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next 11 years. Biles has won silver and gold medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise before making her debut in 2011 at the top category of gymnastics competition. The following year, Biles dominated the sport. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of difficulty for her four eventsvault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- set her apart.
