Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is an American bluegrass and country singer. She started working in the world of music at a very young age. at the age of 10 years old, she took part in local contests and recorded her debut album. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut single album, a solo one in the year 1987. She was asked to join the band which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and released her first album as a band in 1989.
