Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the America's sweetheart when she was crowned American Idol in the first season. This win did more than propel her to stardom however, it also secured her a multi-album record deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. Since then, she's released several recordings from her studio. Three of them have made it to the US Billboard 200 charts while the other two were only one or two inches from. She's among the most popular performers to emerge from American Idol. When she was successful, she tried out different topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs to her own personal experiences. To acknowledge her talents and distinctiveness, she's received a lot of praise and accolades. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Aside from her career in music, she's also been featured on film and television. She also wrote the kids' novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated in a variety of charitable organisations.
