Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. Growing up in Wayne in conservative Jewish traditions, she moved to New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch school of arts. But very soon, she became involved in the city's club scene, making enough splashes to be seen by the media and simultaneously, she became aware of the devastation of AIDS. Then, she combined her talents and fame her writing skills and composition abilities to create a show called Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position with MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. After the show was finished, she went on to do film and television productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get tiny roles and then established herself slowly as an actor.
