Shari Headley

She is best known for her part as Lisa McDowell in the 1988 romantic comedy that topped the box office Coming to America and its sequel Coming 2 America (2021). Headley has been seen in the films The Preacher's Wife (1996) and Johnson Family Vacation (2004). Headley was a frequent on-air actor in All My Children, an ABC daytime soap opera. She played Detective Mimi Reed from 1991 to 1994. Headley was also the protagonist of the Fox drama series 413 Hope St. (1997-1998) and received nominations for the NAACP Image Award as Outstanding actor in a Drama Series. Headley was the antagonist Jennifer Sallison on the Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap opera The Haves and the Have Nots from 2014 until 2016.
