Carol Lynley

Pics Carol Lynley Feet and LegsCarol Lynley (born Carole Ann Jones; February 13, 1942 until September 3, 2019) was an American actress, best known for her roles in the movies Blue Denim (1959) and The Poseidon Adventure (1972).Lynley was born in Manhattan to an Irish father and New England mother. Before becoming an actress, she started her modeling career as a child model. She was awarded the Theatre World Award as "one of the most promising actors for 1956-57" for her performance in The Potting Shed. Lynley began her film career in the year when she appeared in the Disney film The Light in the Forest. The film was followed by Holiday for Lovers (1959) as well as Blue Denim (1959). In 1959, she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer Female for the film The Light in the Forest. She was nominated to the Golden Globe Award again for the most promising youngcomer of female a year later for Blue Denim.
